The Marine Corps Animal Policy Order prohibits the following breeds of dogs Pure or mixed breeds Pit bulls Rottweilers Wolf hybrids Any breed with dominant traits of aggression that poses an unreasonable risk to the health and safety of base personnel. In case of mixed breed and other disputes the decision of the primary veterinarian shall be final and conclusive. PET reminders on base animals must be registered with animal control on base; With proof of microchip. The rabies tag must be visible to the pet at all times. Pets must be adequately protected with access to food and water. Pets must be on a leash at all times unless confined to a fenced area. AMCC's PET policy includes only two pets (cats/dogs) allowed per household. Animals are not allowed on the farm. Written permission must be obtained from AMCC before taking a pet home. Residents must submit all vaccinations and license documentation prior to permit issuance.
